Applications are now being accepted for Semester 2, 2025
Applications are now being accepted for students intending to enter their first year of study of an undergraduate course at the University of Otago during Semester 2 of the 2025 academic year. Please note that we do not accept applications from returning students who aren't already college members, post-graduate students, foundation year and/or language centre students, or students currently enrolled in and/or transferring from other tertiary institutions.
Applications for 2026 will be accepted from 1 August 2025

Move in and residence dates for 2026
The move-in period is from 9:00 am on Saturday, 14 February 2026 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, 15 February 2026.
The fees outlined on this page cover accommodation for the period from Saturday, 14 February 2026, until either 24 hours after the student's last exam or Sunday, 8 November 2026, whichever date is the earliest. Members are required to leave within 24 hours of the last exam in the interests of those still studying. Any exemption will only be given by the Head of College, and a daily charge will apply.
Please note that for those who are required to start their course earlier than Saturday, 14 February 2026 and wish to stay at the College, an additional daily charge will apply.
